Residence Inn by Marriott Richmond West/Midlothian

Definitely a hotel I would stay at again. The rooms were clean and quiet. We were at the end of the hall on the 4th floor. Breakfast was just okay to be honest. Located across the street from a hospital, but we never heard one siren the entire time we were here. Deborah Winans, the woman who checked us in, was great! Very nice and helped get us into a quiet room.

The staff is so friendly, room and building itself is immaculately clean. Urusula was particularly helpful accommodating our needs. Traveling alone with a 9 month old baby has its challenges but this hotel was a bright spot of our trip. They made things easier.

This hotel is a GEM. Originally, we unfortunately picked a nightmare of a hotel and took a leap of faith switching to here the next day. We are so happy we did and extremely thankful for the team members. The entire hotel and room is kept sparkling clean. Smells clean and new. All the amenities you need. Pool is kept clean. Every team member makes you feel at home and go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. They are the kindest human beings. As a regional manager in the customer service industry, I have to say this team is an allstar team and the hotel is a home away from home. Thank you to the team at Residence Inn for saving us from a nightmare. If we ever have to stay in the area again, we will be staying here.

My only issue was the snow removal in the parking lot could have been better cleared. (Feb 2026) Limited amount of parking.

Accommodating and quiet. The staff is incredibly friends and attentive. The continental breakfast is a step above most hotels.

Property is in a super convenient and safe location in Midlothian. Ample parking and efficient layout. Huge rooms for "standard" options but the best part was the service from the staff working/running the morning shift. They didn't have to care about my situation nor do anything yet Larry went out of his way to help me out and get me into my room way before he had to if he didn't care. He was super accomadating despite looking like he wasn't having the easiest morning. I really appreciated how he went above and beyond to make my stay 10x better for my short trip here. If i ever need a hotel in the area again i will 100% be coming back here.

This has got to be one of the most wonderful hotels that I've ever stayed at (and between marching band, college trips, vacating, etc, I've been to PLENTY). These fine women and men are not staff, they are family! They're so warm, loving and caring The rooms are absolutely beautiful, such a perfect layout! I'm horrible with names, so i don't remember, but the cleaning crew lady that I've been interacting with since day one is just so amazing! She so funny reliable, helpful and beyond special! The breakfast? Oh my goodness DELICIOUS! The staff lady that mans the morning breakfast is so sweet and adorable that she's more of grandmother aura than anything, so sweet! Maria, the front desk lady, is so kind and caring, i just love to see her smiling face when i walk through the door. The entire staff is just all around superb and I'm so grateful that my company sent me to this location.

Stayed here for 2 weeks… and the staff were fabulous! We had a couple of issues with our room but the staff took care of them immediately! Beds were surprisingly comfortable. Fitness area was clean. Laundry room was excellent as we needed to do laundry half way through our trip. Room was also very functional! Great little kitchen to prepare food and snacks. Highly recommend for long stays.
